Catch Eric Quanstrom LIVE on Larry Jordan's Show TONIGHT

Internationally renowned digital media consultant and overall online video guru Larry Jordan hosts a highly respected and followed weekly podcast called "Digital Production Buzz."  Sorenson Media's very own COO, Eric Quanstrom, is one of Larry's guests tonight -- discussing overall video workflow issues -- and solutions.  I have worked with Eric for over 5 years -- believe me, he knows his stuff.  And, this WILL be informational -- it will NOT be an info-mercial for Sorenson Media.

Catch him in the third segment of Larry's show tonight -- which starts at 6 pm PT (9 pm ET).

Among other plaudits, Larry has over 35 years experience as a television producer, director, and editor with national broadcast and corporate credits. He's also a member of both the Directors Guild of America and the Producers Guild of America.

I'll be listening with keen interest to Eric's interview...

And Peter, thanks for keeping open the dialogue...my comment (on your comment of two days ago here):

Peter, thanks also to you -- This *tabbed video* player is more needed than ever with so many video platform companies falling all over each other to enable mobile distribution, while forgetting the needs of *viewers* to be able to quickly and easily FIND what they are looking for :: pushing them down a page is so *yesterday* in my vision of what's possibe.

Imagine a book without a table of contents :: that's what online video looks like today...it's THERE, but how do you find it?

The Yellow Pages were a successful innovation at one time :: everything organized into *categories* and *sub categories* in a big yellow book distributed to every home.

Now they are finished.

I envision *tabbed video* as a nifty online replacement that introduces local goods and services with point-of-view clips produced with high end consumer equipment and edited through networks of talented people working remotely.

The marketing and production cannot proceed until I solve the problem of encoding and distribution through a *tabbed* and *searchable* player that can be hosted on thousands of independent sites :: one for every neighborohood.

I've watched some of your YouTube posts and am convinced more than ever that a Sorenson collaboration makes a lot of sense.

You, my friend ARE a visionary!

And at some point I need to hook up with another visionary with the resources I need to move boldly-where-no-man-has-gone-before!!

If I get to San Diego can I buy you lunch?
