The Power of Personal Video Over the Internet -- Creating Connections (and Keeping Them Alive)

ABC Television's new prime-time news magazine -- iCaught -- featured a segment last night about the unique power of personal video over the Internet (live video calling, etc.) to connect people and to develop and build relationships. Whether you are a soldier in Iraq away from your family, a loved one separated by geography, or a colleague away from the "mother ship", Internet video calling and conferencing is truly the next best thing to being there. Check out this clip.

(Note -- was good to see that, for the second week in a row -- iCaught prominently featured SightSpeed in its segments; this week, SightSpeed was used front and center in two segments, including one in which the show's host interviewed R.E.M.'s Mike Mills via videocam.)
