The Great Online Talent Search (or How To Be a Star in a YouTube World)

I recently blogged about one of the great democratizing aspects of the Internet -- anyone with an Internet connection now has an opportunity to make their mark and get discovered. Case in point -- SightSpeed's own "The SightSpeed Guy" (aka Peter Zottolo in our Customer Support department) who now hosts his own show on DirecTV after getting discovered as a result of his vlogs.

Yesterday's The Wall Street Journal featured a major article by Michael Totty focusing precisely on the great online fame game -- titled, "How To Be A Star in a YouTube World." Totty offers other recent examples and tips to enhance your chances at breaking out of the pack.
