I just recently posted again about the power of "Personal Video" -- video captured directly from embedded web cams.
This "power" does not come from desktop or notebook webcams alone. In fact, mobile "personal video" -- captured from cell phones and other mobile devices -- holds unique promise and power. Imagine the spontaneity of being able to capture essentially any moment in time from anywhere and then post it anywhere. This makes for compelling slices of life and user generated content.
Today's Wall Street Journal features a related article about the power and promise of personal video on cell phones -- "Cellphones' Coming Attraction: You!" -- on page B1 by Leila Abboud. Worthy of a read.
